Check Through Sex Offender Records Before You Hire

    January 19th, 2012 by admin

As the owner of a large, urban daycare, I go through help like you wouldn’t believe. Taking care of little children all day is taxing on the most patient of people. Burn-out happens often. However, as inconvenienced as I am, I never rush to hire a new employee. There are several steps to take before a new adult is allowed to work with my precious children. One of these steps is to pass an online search of sex offender records. Because of the Freedom of Information Act, anyone can access these free files online. I take the time to check each potential employee out as thoroughly as possible before hiring. No one’s going to hurt my babies if I can help it.
